Hybris

We transformed a former former factory hall into a radically new shaped space underlining the Fuchsbau festivals topic „Megalomania“. The audience found itself between massive grey stained wooden walls with golden bowl reflector lamps and underneath a giant chandelier.

Inside our "Hybris" space, people could not see anything of the original factory look of the hall and were kindly caged inside the space at the same time.

The gold lettered entrance of our indoor stage invited people into our atmosphere shifting space, passing a small hallway of white cloth to get into Hybris. A decadent entrance to thoughtful talks and workshops, yet an entry to mesmerizing techno parties with dark and foggy beats.

In only one week — with the help of dear friends — we created Hybris as part of three indoor stages for Fuchsbau Festival 2015, located in an abandoned factory hall near Hannover. Great DJ*anes such as Lotic, Helena Hauff, Solaris and Matvrak and exciting theatre performances by Bouillabaisse, kolektyw 1a, as well as by Schall und Schnabel were happening during this year’s festival edition.
